We are a recording studio located in Nashville, TN. Our studio provides recording, editing, and mixing services for artists and bands.

Our client list ranges from indie to billboard charting artists & bands. We are not an audio postproduction house (we dont do commercials or voiceover work). The majority of our clients fall within early twenties to late thirties. Most of our clientele youd consider the creative type (probably like many of you). You know, people who dislike wearing suits & ties and refer to cubical desks as jail! However they still undoubtedly demand quality service while obtaining competitive rates. Ultimately most of our clients choose us because we provide the above while offering a more unique, vibey, and enjoyable experience.

BASIC DETAILS:

-We dig late 40s & 50s era, Retro but not dated. Vintage meets modern. Insignias can be cool. We dont want a pinup girl but we like that vibe. Clean lines could be cool but not wall street bla. Patterns incorporated within the design are also neat just not off the wall. We definitely want some art/object to accompany the text. (no cheesy clipart or goofy art please) Just remember that although we dont want the run of the mill corporate type logo, we also dont want it to border on complete obscurity. Ultimately use your judgement and we will give feedback along the way.

-You can get creative with the text if so inclined, but keep it legible.
Additional text that may or may not work within the logo: Studio, Company, Co., Nashville (with or without TN following Nashville)

-Colors are up to you. Although we do like retro & modern colors. Bolder colors could also work but not 90s neon. Multiple colors are fine, we just dont want so many colors that it becomes distracting. [Login to view URL]

**NO CHEESY CLIPART STUFF or WINDOWS 95 ERA ICONS**

- Our logo needs to work at different sizes

- Were also hoping that this logo or part could be printed one color if need be. (not a must but would definitely be a plus)

- Colored backgrounds are okay, but we must have the ability to change to white or transparent within photoshop or illustrator.

- What's going to happen with judging, what entries will be judged?
* After submitting is over, we will be cleaning house (a few hrs after deadline). Every entry that has been given the moniker 'Elements we like' or #2 - #10 will be included within judging!!

- Who will decide the winner?
* Everybody at Prime, friends of Prime, and a few industry powerhouse companies and personal via the AES convention taking place this weekend in NYC.

- How will they be judged?
* The logo that receives the best praise among the feedback givers will become the victor!!

- When will the winner be announced?
* Mon, Tue, or Wed.
