What we do
This is our 2nd logo contest for Marine Recycling Corporation
[Login to view URL] While we were happy with the initial contest logo we received, we decided to run the contest one more time to see what everyone comes up with. To recap, our company provides complete end-of-life ship management services to commercial and government clients (recycles large ships like freighters, ferries, warships etc).
The company prides itself on being an environmentally focused ship recycler in an industry where that's not always the case. The environmental focus / commitment of this company is what sets it apart.
The company has two ship recycling yards that provide ship recycling services in North America. One on the Great Lakes in southern Ontario, Canada where it primarily recycles great lake freighters. The other recycling facility is on the east coast of Canada. That yard recycles ocean going cargo ships, as well as warships.
The company also provides consultation services to other ship recycling yards, governments and commercial fleet owners around the world.

The target audience
The main target audience is government and commercial ship owners. Fisheries, commercial cargo fleet owners, other government agencies, Navy etc..
We like these fonts, colors and style
A font and style that conveys, experience, trust, environmentalism, sustainability, and professionalism.
Our current logo includes a blue swatch (C:97 M:74 Y:2 K:0) as well as a green swatch (C:83 M:9 Y:83 K:1). We would like our new logo to include the same or very similar colours.
