What we do
I am a nurse anesthetist, I am forming a community that focuses on moments of pause in the midst of our busy lives. There will be conversation spaces, workshops, yoga retreats, meditation offerings as well as a blog and podcast. This will be for the general population and a specific component for healthcare providers as well. Below is a description of the metaphor.
There’s this period during an open heart surgery, where life is literally suspended. The patient is on the table, chest cracked wide open, and the heart is stopped in its beating tracks. Blood is oxygenated and routed to the organs via a cardiac bypass machine and the goal for the surgical team - to get the heart beating back stronger than before. This period is referred to as time “On Bypass”
My mission is caring for others and I am constantly seeking ways to regulate the nervous system and share those gifts with world. This is my offering to you. A community focused on carving out time to slow down, reflect and share, breathe, move with purpose and find wonder and inspiration in different corners of the world. A time for pause and inventory. The intention, peace and levity. Welcome to “On Bypass.”

We like these fonts, colors and style
Simple colors. Black and white, green and white, blue and white. Bold fonts, no cursive.
I really like the idea of having anatomy a part of it, heart, lung, brain, rib cage.
