What we do
4Joy is a sports company that manufactures pickleball paddles. The paddles are upscale, refined and high quality. In addition to being an excellent quality product, the differentiating element of these paddles are the designs, that are unique, beautiful and are created to appeal to women. Most customers already have a paddle, so these are additional paddles that these women purchase because of the quality materials and outstanding designs. Then name sounds like "For Joy"
Industry: Retail

Things to communicate through the design
1. Stylish, sophisticated, modern, fun, feminine
2. More fashion than sport
3. Playful and artistic -

The target audience
The ideal customer is a woman between the ages of 35-70 who plays pickleball regularly, is ready to upgrade her paddle to a high-grade performance paddle, and is looking for a paddle that is stylish, unique and eye-catching. 4Joy is a woman-owned company and each year donates a percentage of its revenue to non-profits that support women.

We like these fonts, colors and style
IMPORTANT - the logo has to be round (NOT square or rectangular), so it can be printed on the paddle and the cap end of the handle. We would like to see the "4" and "J" connect or woven together as part of the design. For colors, please be inspired by the attached image. NEW REQUEST - please use only solid colors, not blended ones, like shown in the samples provided.

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Billboards & Signs)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Additional Info Added Oct 16, 2023
IMPORTANT for all designers

Make logos more cute, not so serious.

Can you incorporate a smile?

Many of the logos are too masculine. Make the logo more feminine, more curvy.

NEW UPDATE for all designers
Thank you for your submissions! Please try to combine or attach the 4 and J as a symbol that can be used as a stand-alone icon and make sure the 4 and J are identifiable. If the 4 and J are overlapped too much it looks like a Y.
