What we do
This contest is a little bit unique - we are hosting a fitness event called the "Trussville Throwdown" (Trussville is our city). We need a text logo of TVL that incorporates subtle imagery that appeals to The South but is also very modern and sharp. We want the TVL to really be able to strongly stand alone as something unique and recognizable to our event.
A really clean strong modern logo that communicates the South will be our winner.

age 25-40, higher income, modern, fitness enthusiasts who are competing in a sleek and professional fitness competition
We like these fonts, colors and style
I was thinking 1 color, but I'm always open to anything - show me what looks best!
Subtle imagery
TVL as a standalone logo and with "Throwdown" alongside it in simple text.
Southern Pride Route: Something with an american eagle and subtle elements with an american flag. (I've attached the flag that we have a 20'x20' mural of on the side of our building.)
We want folks to feel strong wearing this logo on their chest and maybe even experience some traditional American pride as well
I will give a lot of feedback as soon as designs come in!
