What we do
ABC Auto Parts has been serving the East Texas and Shreveport/Bossier City areas in Louisiana for over 40 years. We distribute a wide range of auto parts and accessories to both retail and aftermarket customers. ABC is excited to launch a Tool Loaner program that will enable our Do-It-Yourself customers to save money and gain the satisfaction of doing more themselves.

Please note that this logo is for ABC's Tool Loaner program and not for ABC itself.
Industry: Automotive

Things to communicate through the design
1. Professionalism
2. Sophisticated
3. Easy program to use

The target audience
The majority of our target audience consists of guys who like to work on their own trucks and cars. People who have knowledge of how to fix their car, but lack the tools.

We like these fonts, colors and style
After some design experimentation of our own, we have decided that we want a 2D logo.

This logo will be most prominently displayed on a 24"x48" sign amongst other signage with logos that show our other programs and certifications, and we want it to "fit" in visually. It will be on a background of black carbon fiber, so the edges of the logo should be a contrasting color. It would be beneficial for you to design on a black background to help us see how it will look better. On our website you can learn more and see our logo --> [Login to view URL] A logo that will be displayed in the same group is ASE's logo (www.ase.com). We like the simplicity of their logo.

We are open to different colors. We are also open to different fonts, but tend to prefer more sophisiticated, clean looks. Emblem or Crest format would be good, but we would appreciate out-of-the-box ideas as well. Though we prefer 2D, metallic looks such as stainless steel are also welcome.

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Billboards & Signs)

Also, if you include tools in the graphics, please be aware that they should be automotive-related tools. Hammers and paintbrushes aren't applicable. Thank you.

In response to TheNutz's question: We prefer Tool Loaner Program.

We have discussed having it say, "Specialty Tool Loaner Program" to clarify that they are specialty automotive tools, but we don't know if it's too wordy. Opinions?

Automotive Specialty tools can be found on one of our supplier's website: [Login to view URL]
