What we do
UNREEL Pictures has been in business since 1994, however we do not have a logo. We are focused on real-time 3D Graphics for broadcast & feature films. Please take a look at our website for more information

The target audience
The primary audience is Broadcasters & Studios, however half our clients are fortune 500 corporate companies.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We like clean fresh looking icons. We LOVE almost everything Apple does. Our website uses a fair amount of white space and is based upon a medium blue color.
We are thinking about retaining the .com in our branding, but not sure. So logos as unreel.com would be welcome. Once we start seeing examples we will let you know if we want to use .com or not.
Fonts - Although we like clean fonts like Arial & Helvetica based fonts, we would like to see a unique treatment for UNREEL, perhaps playing on the two EE's. We are forced to spell unreel.com when we talk with clients because unreal is assumed. It may be nice if the logo text treatment helped with this, but it is not mandatory. A clean look is more important.
Colors - One of our competitors uses Orange, and our other company Brainstorm America uses Blue, so are thinking either Green or staying with Blue. Both are still positive corporate colors for us.
Animate - Because we do real-time 3D Graphics, we will want to animate the logo and rebuild it in 3D, either as a variation of the design or something very close. There are many ways for us to do this, however if you have any ideas with your design, we would appreciate hearing them.
Regarding the example images. We really like our Brainstorm America Logo, and have always liked the Cingular Logo, how it animated and the feeling of character. We are also big fans of PIXAR as a 3D Graphics company. We do not want to stifle creative ideas, so please do not take these few examples too literally. We are looking for a wide variety of submissions. We will provide daily feedback to remove ideas that we are not thrilled with. We will also respect designers individual concepts and discourage subtle variations done by others.
Based upon the winning design & our experience with this process, we may be interested in working with the designers with more work.
