What we do
Miller's Roast Beef is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been in the same family since 1968. We have one location and are currently looking into expanding to a 2nd location and have recognized the need for a "re-branding". We are a counter service, fast casual restaurant that serves the most delicious sandwiches and krinkle cut french fries.
Our rebranding of a logo should be similar is shape, but we are looking to take it to the next level. We want to stay away from anything with bright and vibrant colors and anything that screams "fast food". We are trying to seperate our selves from "fast food" or "chain".
Colors/scheme should be "earthy" - colors are ok - however the should be muted, subdued. The logo will be used throughout our entire organization - cups, bags, signage, etc. There will be more projects after this also - i.e. takeout menu design, pop signage, website, etc.

The target audience
Our customers are wide ranging. Our average ticket price is $8 - $9. Customers range from 0 - 80. Most people have grown up eating Miller's because their parents & grandparents have taken them to our place. We have a lot or "worker guys" (electricians, laborers, etc.) and then a lot of business professionals (lawyers, doctors, accountants, etc.), and then we have a lot of families in our night/dinner business.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Stick with same general round idea with words curving around....Don't want to change that since people have known this brand for over 40 years.....However - modernize it. Open to ideas.....but stick with Miller's acroos the center and then roast on top and beef on the bottom....Be creative. Play with fonts and colors.
Some colors that we like are:
earthy toned: greens, burgendy, browns, coffee, etc....
