| Company Name: iStork |
| Our Slogan:
Creating Connections for Life
|
| What We Do: This is a logo for a new PRODUCT I am soon to launch, rather than a company. It is an audio product, which will aid family bonding - the familiarisation, stimulation, and calming of babies through stories, songs, lessons and music. Personalisation of family recordings is key, rather than pre-recorded music. The stork image should be worked into the design, but this is a modern, hip product, so we dont want to get too fluffy and gooey, or fall into the cliche trap. Bear in mind that pregnant mothers ARE the target market though, so its a fine balance. Design could go 2 ways : more abstract, or mascot based. I like flowing shapes, chunky graphics, and stong integration of graphics and text. |

| Designers please note : I am asking a focus group of mothers and pregnant women (who are the target audience for this product) to assist me in ranking the designs. If the top couple of designs change around slighly, do not be concerned that your design is or is not going to win, as this is an evolving process .. |

feedback from a UK design house on the contest so far ..
"I have been having a look at the competition you set out ( good idea!) and i have to say to me personally you have an extremely good logo in these already! and that is the one at no1. position right now. I think both work extremely well with the stork and with out. The type face is fun and fresh and bold with out being to babyish but at the same time not being to adult and grown up. Some of the logos looked abit over trendy which then made them appear cold and lost their sense of fun about them.
The strong bold colours are straight to the point and very confident which is what you need for your brand as it is all about communication. I love the way the stork wraps its wings around the brand! great simple logo. Its not fussy and very clean. The thing is with a logo you need to remember, it needs to be versatile and still hold a recognisable brand. It needs to be able to be applied to many different things, packaging, advertising, any design, the product its self, so will need to be able to be seen in a range of size from extremely massive to postage stamp size. this is why a logo should be clean and clear! this answers all that but keeps a style and is very clear what the product is and who its designed for. I dont think the i stork logo on its own needs the swipe of purple, i feel it will work fine without and allow room for the stork to fit in it or be taken away as suits you. This logo will also work in many other colour variations and even grayscale which you will find a logo should work in too. "
Guys, looks like you have your work set out to topple this one ... !!

| maybe also relevant to mention, this product starts bonding through sound while the baby is still in the WOMB (and then afterwards, when out also). So perhaps there is a creative direction there to head in - pregnancy bumps. babies in womb and so on .. |

Notes for further entries :
- I'd really like to see some moden, funky abstract logos, incorporating the ESSENCE of the stork, rather than a literal stork
- also ideas focusing on BONDING, STORIES and SONGS (as requested) are the way foward from here
thanks |

| I would like to see the entries centring on the specifications more - BONDING through STORIES, SONGS and LESSONS, rather than just lMUSIC. I appreiate that a musical note is easier to convey in a logo, but that's not what this product is about. Would also like to see some elements of the stork image/mascot and/or the love-hand images from the flickr link worked into the logos, rather than just the name iStork being the only link to stork. thanks |

| OK guys, too many drawings coming in with just a heart and the text, or a beak stuck onto the words iStork. This is NOT what I asked for in the spec. From here on in, any drawings which come in and are apparent the designer has not fully read the spec and flickr photos and comments will simply be rejected. |
